About the Concert:
Orchestra Lagrandt pays tribute to Classicism, exploring a light and exhilarating program of works by Haydn and Mozart. Cellist Joël Geniet joins us from Switzerland to reprise Haydn's virtuosic C major cello concerto, originally composed in 1765 for Joseph Franz Weigl, the principal cellist of Prince Nicolaus Esterházy's orchestra.
