BECOME A PATRON

_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Throughout musical history, composers, performers, and orchestras have enjoyed the patronage of music lovers, wealthy individuals, the aristocracy, and even the royalties of the world. Without these vital supporters, composers like Beethoven, Chopin, and Stravinsky may have never been able to share their artistic talents with the world. Today, where there are fewer and fewer options for financial support, this patronage is paramount to both preserve and grow the the pillars of our artistic culture.

With your support, we will continue to grow as an orchestra, performing not only in the Netherlands, but across Europe and the world. And as one of the few orchestras truly dedicated to the exploration of Romantic music on historical instruments, we feel this is the most exhilarating kind of initiative that will stand the test of time. You can become a patron of the orchestra for as little as €100 a year and will have the chance to experience up close, attend patrons' events, and will be recognized for your unwavering support to a golden-age of music making.

After the two were introduced in the early 1840s, Stirling began to take lessons from the Polish virtuoso, and later began to handle his private and business affairs. When Chopin passed away in 1849, Stirling paid off a series of mountainous debts, organized his funeral, purchased his Pleyel grand piano, and arranged for the posthumous publication of several compositions.
